Compliance: We help you meet California tint regulations

Frequently Asked Questions

What does VLT mean for car window tint?

VLT indicates how much visible light passes through your car windows after tint. Lower VLT = darker; higher VLT = lighter.

Which shade gives maximum privacy?

5% VLT (limo) provides the most privacy and strongest glare reduction, commonly used on rear windows.

Can I keep the car bright but still reduce heat?

Yes. Ceramic films at 50%–70% provide excellent heat and UV reduction with a lighter look.

Is this tint legal in California?

California has specific limits for front side windows and windshields. We’ll recommend a setup that’s compliant and suits your goals.

Can I mix different VLTs on the same car?

Yes. Many drivers choose lighter fronts and darker rears for balance between compliance, visibility, and privacy.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. got my widows tinted by OP Tintworks yesterday. Great work! Professional in every step of the way. Jorge came to my work parking lot and all I had to do was hand the keys to him. Few minutes later , job well done!. My wife is already enjoying the protection she is getting when driving with me. She had skin cancer few years back, and now she doesn't have to worry about the uv rays when driving in my truck! if you need your windows tinted, don't go anywhere else. OP tintworks!!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Jorge replaced the tint on our 2011 Camry. The old tint was super worn and bubbly, it looked awful. Jorge was able to remove it and replaced it with new darker tint that looks amazing, it’s almost like having a brand new car! He’s easy to communicate with, responds to texts quickly and does a great job. I would highly recommend his services!
